Digital Lending Solution

JUST invests in low-income, hard-working entrepreneurs to create a more financially resilient America. In order to scale, JUST believes the lending process needs to be modernized through a mobile-first solution. I worked as the project's User Experience & Visual Designer in collaboration with FinTech Product Manager. We conducted user research, synthesized our findings, and built a clickable prototype.

JUST's low-tech approach allows them to focus on the human experience. Yet it is demanding operationally. So, we listened to their users to devise a solution.

When interviewing users, we uncovered their biggest need was to be able to check their loan balance. The above user flow maps the ideal "happy path," where users can check their loan balance and subsequently apply for a new loan.
